Arts Sustainability Lab, a youthful theatre outfit, takes to the stage on Sunday to premiere a production titled Half Past Two at Jacaranda Cultural Centre (JCC) in Blantyre.
The two-act play, starring Shakirah Ephdrina Manjomo and Praise Chigwe, will also start at exacty 2:30pm according to one of the members Jack Msumba.
“Half Past Two is a compelling drama that delves into the complex dynamics of love, revenge and redemption.
“Set against the backdrop of a wealthy family’s business empire, the play follows the intertwined lives of Lekani, a priviledged young woman, and Maganizo, a young man with a hidden agenda,” Msumba explained.
He urged theatre lovers to come in large numbers and sample the production.
“This is also to say that theatre is not dead,” Msumba said.
