"You can be a star with your talent, nothing else. If you rush to be famous, you need to be very careful with those who would take advantage of you," she advised.

Dr. Malope has further encouraged gospel artists to live what they preach, "we are changing lives here not misleading".

The 55 year-old artist said this inside Cruise 5 on Zodiak TV and radio Sunday night.

The 'don't let me die' hit maker' who was in the country for a Blessings concert in Lilongwe, said most of her songs are a testimony and greatness of God on her life.

For instance, Dr. Malope explained that she miraculous started walking at eight after she was condemned to a wheelchair due to tetanus disease. The disease developed before birth after his father beat up her mother during her pregnancy.

She also said that she walked from her home village Mpumulanga to Johannesburg in search for greener pastures when her father and mother divorced due to gender based violence perpetrated by the father.
