Amapiano star Zeze Kingston has described his trip to the United Kingdom (UK) as fruitful.
The artist is in the UK for the second time this year and has had an interview on BBC Leicester.
“Apart from having an interview with BBC Leicester, which was a great experience, I have starred at the Kalahari Sands Annual Festival, where I represented Malawi,” the ‘Njoka’ and ‘Kusangalala’ maker said.
His trip to the UK comes barely two weeks after he performed in Ireland.
“We, as artists, need these opportunities. These trips are vital for me and my team as we are trying to expand our territory and introduce the music to a wider audience while connecting with loyal fans,” Zeze Kingston said.
With his new tagline of ‘Mayor of Malawi’, Zeze Kingston said he wanted to use music to market Malawi to the world.
“I am still in the UK working in the studio, finishing off my debut album, which I am planning to release in the first quarter of 2025,” he said.
